There are some things about me that haven't changed since I was a kid:

--I play well with others (probably one trait that most of us at OuiSharefest2014 shared as children).

--Even though I am an "only child" I actually like to share my stuff

--I get a lot of satisfaction out of successful "matchmaking", which is sort of like networking except there doesn't have to be any expectation of reciprocity

--I love to travel



So it was a blessing and probably inevitable that I ended up starting and running the largest home swap club in the world. I love being able to share the wonderful opportunities it offers and hearing stories from our Members, not only of how it has let them travel more, longer and farther, but has actually changed their lives.



In 1992 we began as a printed directory of houses and information shared between friends. HomeExchange.com has grown into an active and loyal community of like-minded travelers sharing 50,000 homes in more than 150 countries all over the world.



I’m proud to have formed a home exchange community that was collaborative before “collaborative consumption” became a popular term and look forward to taking part in the exciting changes yet to come.
