OuiShare Factory Workshops #3: Electronics

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

OuiShare Factory is a temporary fabrication space where people can participate freely in both digital fabrication and discussions around common problems, and share ideas about ongoing and new projects.

For OpenSource Electronics Factory Workshop, we will be joined by the co-founders of the Jerry Romain Chanut and his team, SnootLab founder Fred and Ophélie, P2P Foodlab founder Peter Hanappe.

The afternoon will be dedicated to open electronics, featuring workshops on Arduino and soldering held by Frédérique Jourdan from Snootlab, instructions for building a low-cost open source computer with Romain Chanut from Jerry DIT, together with other useful tools such as open source energy monitor for home use, or electronic sensors for P2P Food Lab and Open Source Beehive – Smart Citizen based monitoring system.

The workshop #3 workshop objectives is to build some elements of a Electronics :
    1 Arduino workshop - Jerry
1 Soldering made easy workshop - SnootLab
    1 Sensorbox - P2PFoodLab
    1 SmartCitizen sensors

In addition, the team from DOOD will build and assamble a 3D printer model, the DOM.

The Factory #3 workshop objectives are also about connecting people around important topics common to all engaged projects.

The topics will be displayed on the #OSFFactoryTalks black board and the discussion will happen around the #OSFFactoryTalks tables.

Peter, Marc and Justyna will happily welcome participants who are eager to think and co-design next versions of these sensorboxes and prototype some parts with the Trotec laser cutter.
