Esra is passionate about how humans collaborate and convinced that collective work creates good, with a specific focus on sustainability and zero waste. Through her work as a facilitator and a developer of distributed organizations, she experiments and implements open governance and collaborative approaches.

Currently, Esra is the Network Development Coordinator of Zero Waste Europe, a pan-European foundation created to empower communities to redesign their relationship with resources. The movement gathers 30 local and national organisations in 25 countries, and also brings together 400 municipalities moving towards zero waste.

Esra is an active member of emergent organizations; as a OuiShare Connector and an Enspiral Contributor. She's also an outdoor enthusiast and a Eurasia-obsessed traveler.
